The Faulkner Falcons will be having Senior Night for 2017 Basketball on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Peak Performance in Conway (former Jump Zone, in front of Walmart on Dave Ward Drive). This year’s seniors will be honored after the Varsity Girls game and before the Varsity Boys game against Community Christian. Please save the date and make plans to attend this special event.
The Faulkner Falcons, along with the Pulaski Flames, are excited to be hosting the AR State Homeschool Basketball Tournament at McGee Center again this year. Dates are Thursday thru Saturday, February 16-18.
Hosting this event definitely takes volunteers to help make it run smoothly, so we want to let you know some of the areas that the Falcons are responsible for:
Referee Room: Food/Drinks for Refs
Music / Announcing
Concessions on Friday: this is a fundraiser for bball players
Floor Cleaning during games
Seeding / Brackets / Scheduling
T-shirt / Souvenir coordination
If you are interested in helping in any of these areas, please reply to this email (email@example.com) or text to 501.730.2519, and we’ll put you on the list. Games begin around mid-morning on Thursday, and run all day Friday and Saturday. Thanks in advance for making this a great experience for homeschool basketball players from throughout Arkansas!
We’re pleased to announce that Victoria Gerbholz and Judson Woodfin have been selected to represent the Faulkner Falcons on the annual 501 Magazine Basketball Teams. This is a great honor, and both of these players are very deserving of it. We’re proud of you, and congratulations! Links for three articles are listed below:
All Falcon basketball teams will be taking team and individual pictures with a professional photographer, and you will have an opportunity (it is optional) to purchase a photo package. This session will be held on Sunday November 20th at 4:00pm at Buzz Bolding Arena at Conway High School. There will probably not be an opportunity for a make-up date, so please save this date.
The Lady Falcons volleyball teams are selling 6” tall sports team car window decals for $5.00 as a fundraiser for Nationals. If you would like to order one, please reply by email to firstname.lastname@example.org and specify your name, quantity, font type (fancy or block), sport, jersey or ball, and number, if any. I will be taking orders through October 10th. I will have the decals ready to be picked up at our last home game on October 17th from 4:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at the Don Owens Sports Center. If you can’t swing by, I will make other arrangements to get it to you.

Our annual Falcon Basketball Kickoff meeting will be Monday, August 22, at 6:00pm in the Student Center at Second Baptist Church in Conway. This meeting is for all players, boys and girls, age 9-18, (including prospective players) and their parents. Like last year, we’ll meet together for a few minutes, then teams will break out and meet with their individual coaches.
We’ll cover team & season specifics, expectations, registration forms, uniform sizing, and answer questions. We’ll also have home games posted so that you can sign up for your volunteer spots, so bring your calendars.
We look forward to seeing you, and don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions before the meeting. Also, if you know someone interested in Falcon basketball, please invite them to attend this meeting.
Thanks & Go Falcons!
Scott Coffey, Athletic Director
Dear Falcon Families,
It is time to kick off another season of Falcon volleyball this Friday, August 19th at the Don Owens Sports Center! Get your first look at our volleyball teams for this year!
Inspired by the Olympics, the theme for this Friday’s fundraiser is patriotic. Everyone wear your red, white, and blue attire and go for the gold! There is a special admission price of just $1.00 per person, and you get your name in a drawing for door prizes. You must be present to win. There will be games that involve parents, fans, and even FCHAA board members (see schedule below).
We will also be taking up a love offering that night for the Reddin family. A jar will be on the admissions table if you would like to donate. Greg is going through another round of chemo this week. He has applied for his short term disability, but paperwork takes time to be processed so the family may have to go through a couple of weeks without income before it kicks in. Please continue to lift this family up in prayer.
